The WACTCSA Legislative Action Agenda is a living document represented by the work of community and technical college students.
Each year students from the CTC system are invited to come together and present issues impacting their student bodies. Issues range from textbook affordability to mental health support.
Through an extensive caucusing process students winnow down their diverse issues to four main points used to help build a civic engagement platform for the following year.
This year’s issues are:
- New Hope for Previously Incarcerated Students
- Textbooks and Open Educational Resources (O.E.R.s) Affordability and Accessibility
- College Affordability
- Address College Campus Food Insecurity
