Pre-Academy Advisor Resources
Student Training Before the Academy
Advisors are responsible for working with their student delegation to develop legislative platforms. You will be preparing your students to present their platforms BEFORE they attend the Voice Academy. Platform guidelines are available on the Developing Caucus Platforms of this website.
College Community Follow-Up After the Academy
Advisors are encouraged to liberally share the Legislative Action Agenda with campus governance groups after it is published over the summer. Additionally, it is encouraged to use the Legislative Action Agenda in legislative training or workshops this Fall. The final version of the Legislative Action Agenda will be sent to the CUSP list serv for distribution to student groups when it is released.
